Good morning ☕️

Answer:

(-2 , 3)

Step-by-step explanation:

It’s easier to isolate y in the first equation because the coefficient of y there is just 1.

the coefficient of x in the first equation is -3 and in the second equation is 2 then it’s not easy to isolate x in both equation.

solving the system:

−3x + y = 9

2x + 4y = 8

⇔

y = 3x + 9 (*)

2x + 4y = 8

now, we substitute y by 3x + 9 in equation 2:

2x + 4(3x + 9) = 8 ⇔ 14x + 36 = 8 ⇔ 14x = - 28 ⇔ x = -28/14 = -2

at this stage we substitute x by -2 in (*) to get y:

y = 3x + 9 ⇒ y = 3(-2) + 9 = -6 + 9 = 3

finally, the solution of the system is the ordered pair (-2 , 3).

4tan^(2)x-((4)/(cotx))+sinxcscx

Multiply -1 by the (4)/(cotx) inside the parentheses.

4tan^(2)x-(4)/(cotx)+sinxcscx

To add fractions, the denominators must be equal. The denominators can be made equal by finding the least common denominator (LCD). In this case, the LCD is cotx. Next, multiply each fraction by a factor of 1 that will create the LCD in each of the fractions.

4tan^(2)x*(cotx)/(cotx)-(4)/(cotx)+sin...

Complete the multiplication to produce a denominator of cotx in each expression.

(4tan^(2)xcotx)/(cotx)-(4)/(cotx)+(cot...

Combine the numerators of all expressions that have common denominators.

Step-by-step explanation:

Assuming this is the problem:

At a school, 147 students play at least one sport. This is 35% of the students at the school. How many students are at the school?

147/35 = x/100

35x=147*100

35x=14,700

When someone lends money to someone else, the borrower usually pays a fee to the lender. This fee is called 'interest'. 'Simple' interest, or 'flat rate' interest. The amount of simple interest paid each year is a fixed percentage of the amount borrowed or lent at the start. Interest = Principal × Rate × Time
