Which expression is equivalent to (4x^3y^5) (3x^5y)^2 ?
Liono4ka [1.6K]
(3x^5y)^2=
3^2=9
(x^5)^2=x^10
y^2=y^2

(3x^5y)^2=9x^10y^2

9x^10y^2(4x^3y^5)=
9*4=36
x^10*x^3=x^13
y^2*y^5=y^7
9x^19y^2(4x^3y^5)= 36x^13y^7

Final answer: B

What is the difference in simplest form n^2+3n+2/n^2+7n+10 - 2n/n+5
harkovskaia [24]
The simplest form of the function will be given by:
<span>n^2+3n+2/n^2+7n+10 - 2n/n+5
=[(n+1)(n+2)]/[(n+5)(n+2)]-2n/(n+5)
=(n+1)/(n+5)-2n/(n+5)
=[n+1-2n]/(n+5)
=(1-n)/(n+5)

Answer: </span>(1-n)/(n+5)

Could someone help, please?
statuscvo [17]

Answer:

Option B

Step-by-step explanation:

By using geometric mean theorem in the given right angle triangle RST,

\frac{RT}{ST}=\frac{ST}{VT}

\frac{RV+TV}{ST}=\frac{ST}{TV}

\frac{4.1+10.2}{ST}=\frac{ST}{10.2}

ST² = 10.2 × 14.3

ST = \sqrt{145.86}

ST = 12.077

ST ≈ 12.1

Therefore, Option B will be the correct option.

I need this one now I messed up on the other lol
ira [324]

The first one is X, then the second one would be X+1 ( adding one, makes it consecutive).

Now you have X + X+1 = 667

Simplify:

2x +1 = 667

Subtract 1 from each side:

2x = 666

Divide both sides by 2:

x = 666 /2

x = 333

The first marker is 333

The second marker = 333 +1 = 334

if anyone can solve this gets a $10 gamestop card i already got the codeSolve for x. Show each step of the solution. 2.5(10 - x)
schepotkina [342]

Remark

Forget the Gamestop. I'd never use it. This one is on the house.

Solution

2.5(10 - x) + 10 = 72 - 1.5x*(5x + 12)   The first step is to remove the brackets.  Be very careful you understand the bracket on the right.

25 - 2.5x + 10 = 72 - 7.5x - 18            Study the signs carefully. Collect like terms.

35 - 2.5x = 54 - 7.5x                   Add 7.5x to both sides.

35 - 2.5x + 7.5x = 54 - 7.5x + 7.5x

35 + 5x = 54                               Subtract 35 from both sides.

5x = 19                                        Divide by  5

x = 19/5

x = 3 4/5 = 3.8

Check

When you numbers are so cumbersome, you should check the answer.

<em><u>LHS</u></em>

2.5(10 - 3.8) + 10

2.5(6.2) + 10

15.5 + 10

25.5

<em><u>RHS</u></em>

72 - 1.5(5*3.8 +12)

72 - 1.5(19 + 12)

72 - 1.5(31)

72 - 46.5

25.5

<em><u>RHS = LHS</u></em> The solution checks.
