Answer:

Both the mean and the median

Step-by-step explanation:

Whichever measure, mean or median, is higher, Ari will benefit from that.

<u>Median:</u>

Median is the "middle value" of the list when arranged from least to greatest.

<em>Since there is 6 numbers, the middle number is between the 3rd and 4th number. Hence, we take the average of the 3rd and 4th number.</em>

Arranged from least to greatest: 73, 76, 80, 88, 90, 97

Average of 3rd and 4th is the Median = \frac{80+88}{2}=\frac{168}{2}=84

<u>Mean:</u>

Mean is the sum of all the number divided by the number of numbers (6).

So we have:

Mean = \frac{88+73+97+76+90+80}{6}=\frac{504}{6}=84

Mean is 84

Since Mean and Median are both same (84%), both will be best measure of center for Ari.

Divide 132 by 8. You will get the quotient of 16 and the remainder of 4. So each row has 16 projects. The remaining 4 projects cannot be filled completely in a row.

Y = (1/4)x^2 - (1/2)lnx..over the interval (1, 7e) ...what is the arc length ?
xenn [34]
So, f[x] = 1/4x^2 - 1/2Ln(x)
<span>thus f'[x] = 1/4*2x - 1/2*(1/x) = x/2 - 1/2x </span>
<span>thus f'[x]^2 = (x^2)/4 - 2*(x/2)*(1/2x) + 1/(4x^2) = (x^2)/4 - 1/2 + 1/(4x^2) </span>
<span>thus f'[x]^2 + 1 = (x^2)/4 + 1/2 + 1/(4x^2) = (x/2 + 1/2x)^2 </span>
<span>thus Sqrt[...] = (x/2 + 1/2x) </span>
