Answer:

Look at the picture

Step-by-step explanation:

\log_ab=c\iff a^c=b\\\\\text{Therefore}\\\\f(x)=b^x\to y=b^x\\\\\text{find}\ f^{-1}(x).\ \text{Exchange}\ x\ \text{and}\ y\ \text{and solve for}\ y:\\\\b^y=x\qquad\text{logarithm iwth base b of both sides}\\\\\log_bb^y=\log_b(x)\qquad\text{use}\ \log_ab^m=m\log_ab\\\\y\log_bb=\log_b(x)\qquad\text{use}\ \log_aa=1\\\\y=\log_b(x)\\\\f^{-1}(x)=\log_b(x)\to g(x)=f^{-1}(x)\\\\\text{Then:}\ f(a)=b\to g(b)=a

Please help me i rlly need help
Mumz [18]

Answer:

3

Step-by-step explanation:

Given a line with points; (2, 5) (3, 8).

1. Find the slope of the given line

The formula for finding the slope is:

\frac{y_{2}-y_{1} }{x_{2} - x_{1}}

Substitute in the values;

x_{1} = 2\\y_{1} = 5\\x_{2} = 3\\y_{2} = 8

\frac{8-5}{3-2}

simplify;

\frac{3}{1}

= 3

2. Find the slope of the parallel line;

Remember, when two lines are parallel, they run alongside each other, of infinitely long, but they never touch. Hence two parallel lines have the same slope. Therefore, the slope of a line that is parallel to the given one will also have the same slope as the given one, which is 3.

I need help with pythagoras’ theorem
fomenos

Answer:

Pythagoras’ theorem  is a way to find a side or hypothesis when you have 2 sides.

The formula is:  a^2 + b^2 = c^2

a and b are sides

c is the hypothesis

<u>Ex:  A triangle has a leg that is 5 inches and a leg that is 7 inches.  Find the hypothesis using Pythagoras' theorem.  </u>

A leg is another way of saying a side.

5^2 + 7^2 = c^2

25 + 49 = x^2

sqrt(74) = sqrt(x^2)

sqrt(74) inches = hypothesis

<u>Ex:  A triangle has a leg that is 9 feet and a hypothesis that is 25 feet.  Find the other leg using Pythagoras' theorem. </u>

9^2 + b^2 = 25^2

81 + b^2 - 81 = 625 - 81

sqrt(b^2) = sqrt(544)

b = sqrt(554)

Draw two different shapes with a perimeter of 16 units. What is the area of each shape?
Nadusha1986 [10]

<u>Shape #1:  A square.</u>
Every side is  4  units long.
The perimeter is  16  units.
The area is  <em>16  </em>square units.

<u>Shape #2:  A rectangle.</u>
The length is  7.9  units.
The width is  0.1  unit.
The perimeter is  16  units.
The area is  <em>0.79</em>  of a square unit.

<u>Shape #3:  A circle.</u>
The diameter is  (16/π)  units.  (about  5.093  units)
The perimeter (circumference) is 16 units.
The area is  (64/π)  square units.          (about  <em>20.37</em>  square units)

Clara has a garden that is 7 feet wide and 4 feet long she has 30 tomato plants to put in the garden each plant needs one square
ankoles [38]
A = L * W
A = 7 * 4
A = 28 sq ft....this is the area of her garden

and if each plant uses 1 sq ft, then there will be (30 - 28) = 2 plants leftover
