Answer: D) 8/6

Start at (0,0). To get to the other point, you must move up 8 units and move to the right 6 units.

slope = rise/run = (change in y)/(change in x) = 8/6

Or you could use the slope formula

m = (y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

m = (8-0)/(6-0)

m = 8/6

Normally I would reduce, but your teacher has decided not to.

8/6 reduces to 4/3 when you divide both parts by 2.

Use the future value formula to find the indicated value. FV = $ 5330 n=24; i=0.08; PMT=? PMT=$ (round to the nearest cent)
spin [16.1K]
Hi there
The future value formula is
Fv=pmt [(1+r)^(n)-1)÷r]
Solve the formula for PMT
PMT=Fv÷[(1+r)^(n)-1)÷r]
So
PMT=5,330÷(((1+0.08)^(24)−1)÷(0.08))
PMT=79.83

Good luck!

If there is a group of 7 people ordering pizza. If each person gets 7 slices and each pizza has 9 slices, how many pizzas should
kirza4 [7]

Answer:

6 pizzas

Step-by-step explanation:

7 people × 7 slices each

= 49 slices in total

If each pizza has 9 slices

to get 49 slices ....we divide 49 by 9 to get 5.4

And in order to get a whole we must make it 6 pizzas because 5 is not enough and 6 is more than enough
