Answer:

Its measures are based on divisions that are powers of ten.

Explanation:

The metric system used by scientists, doctors and mathematicians is the most used worldwide, including the official one in Brazil. This system was created at the time of the Inconfidência Mineira, by French scientists who wanted a system of less arbitrary measures, and that could not be lost. To choose this unit of length, they measured the distance from the Equator to the North Pole. They divided that distance by 10,000,000 and marked that distance on a bar. This unit, they called the metro.

In this system, the units are divided into tenths, hundredths and thousandths, adding the prefixes deci, centi and milli to the meter. They are smaller than the meter by 10, 100 and 1000 times, respectively.

Likewise, the multiples that are 10, 100 and 1000 times greater than the fundamental unit, the meter, were named after the addition of the prefix deca, hecto and kilo.

Answer:

The answer to this question is ‘A.’

Explanation:

The answer to this question is ‘A’ Metric measurement system is a decimal-based measurement system. That’s why it is based on divisions that are powers of ten. In Europe, people have commonly used a gram-centigrade based system for measurement. There is a total of two scientific methods of analysis. The metric system is not anymore based on the wavelength of krypton 86 radiation.

Why are G protein only found in Eukaryote cell ?
Levart [38]

Answer:

they bind to protein-coupled transmembrane receptors with higher complexity than those found in prokaryotes

Explanation:

G-proteins are proteins found inside the cells that function as molecular switches which are activated by binding to guanosine triphosphate (GTP), while they are inactive by binding to guanosine diphosphate (GDP). The G-proteins bind to G-protein-coupled transmembrane receptors (GPCRs) in the cytoplasmic region. The GPCRs are a very diverse group of proteins that are activated by extracellular molecules ranging from small peptides to large proteins, including pheromones, neurotransmitters, light-sensitive compounds, etc, thereby allowing them to respond to diverse stimuli from the extracellular environment. In consequence, it is reasonable to suppose that the signaling pathways in which G proteins are involved have a higher complexity level than those observed in primitive prokaryotic organisms.

Mendel's second law is the Law of Independent Assortment. According to that law and according to other facts that Mendel discove
Andreas93 [3]

Answer:

Option (c).

Explanation:

The Mendel's give the two most important laws to explain the transmission of the characters in the organism. Mendel is known as father of genetics and explained his work on the pea plant Pisum sativum.

The Mendel's law of independent assortment explains that in the combination of different genes the alleles of the genes separate or assort independently to one another during the meiosis process. The genes must be present on different chromosome to assort independently.

Thus, the correct answer is option (c).
