Add 13 to both sides
8n=13 - 8n + 13

Simplify 13 - 8n + 13 to -8n + 26
8n = -8n + 26

Add 8n to both sides
8n + 8n = 26

Simplify 8n + 8n to 16n
16n = 26

Divide both sides by 16
n = 26/26

Simplify 26/16 to 13/8
n = 13/8

Answer is: n = 13/8

Write an equation of the line through (-2,5) and (-4,7)
Alecsey [184]

Answer:

y= -x+3

Step-by-step explanation:

we can use slope intercept formula of y=mx+b

M= slope

B= y intercept

To find slope we use y2-y1/x2-x1 using the given coordinates

7-5/-4-(-2)

2/-4+2

2/-2

-1

We can put this into the equation

y=-1x+b

y= -x+b

Now fill in coordinates to find b

7=-(-4)+b

7=4+b

-4 -4

3=b

The y intercept is 3 and we can put that into the equation

y= -x+3

Hopes this helps please mark brainliest

Firm W and Firm X both have goodwill and going-concern value worth approximately $1 million. However, only Firm X reports an amo
Ganezh [65]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Firm W owns the business , both goodwill and going concern value are owned by it. So it has no tax liabilities and chooses not to report in its business tax return.

Firm X may have been acquired, it must amortize both goodwill and going concern for 15 years and that is why reported it on its tax return as deduction.

*Intangible assets that may not be listed on balance sheet during acquisition, must be amortized for 15 years.

The center of a circle is at (-7, -2) and the radius is 7. What is the equation of the circle in standard form?
Liono4ka [1.6K]

Answer:

(x + 7)² + (y + 2)² = 49

Step-by-step explanation:

The standard form of an equation of a circle:

(x-h)^2+(y-k)^2=r^2

(h, k) - center

r - radius

We have:

center (-7, -2) → h = -7 and k = -2

radius r = 7.

Substitute:

(x-(-7))^2+(y-(-2))^2=7^2\\\\(x+7)^2+(y+2)^2=49
