This means, that HIV cannot be transmitted from a person coughing or sneezing near or on you.

HIV <u>can</u> be transmitted by:

  • Specific body fluids from a person infected with HIV. (I am not going to provide examples. )
  • Sharing needles and/or syringes with someone with HIV.
  • Specific activities with a person with HIV. (HIV is a STD.)
