2. I would eliminate x by multiplying 2nd equation by -3 then adding

12x+6y=120
<u>-12x-3y=-90 +
</u>0x+3y=30

3y=30
divide by 3
y=10

sub
4x+y=30
4x+10=30
4x=20
divide 4
x=5

each group act takes 5 mins and each individual takes 10 minutes
