Answer:

(B) the mean is less than the mode and less than the median.

Step-by-step explanation:

Mean, Median, Mode is used to calculate the central tendency of the distribution.

Mean is defined as,

Mean = \dfrac{Sum of all observation}{Total number of observation}\\ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ = \dfrac{4+1+7+6+8+2+7}{7}

∴ Mean = 5

Median is the middle observation of the distribution after arranging it in ascending or descending order.

So, arranging distribution in ascending order we get,

$1, $2, $4, $6, $7, $7, $8

Also, a number of observation is 7 which is an odd number.

Hence, Median = (\frac{Number of observation + 1}{2})^{th} term

⇒ Median = (\frac{7 + 1}{2})^{th} term

⇒ Median = 4th term = 6

Mode is the observation which has highest frequency.

Here, only $7 is repeated 2 times.

Hence, Mode = 7.

Hence, we see that Mean < Median < Mode

So, Option (B) is correct i.e. mean is less than the mode and less than the median.

The first answer: you have to 560-200 which equals 360 then divide by 45 which equals 8 so your answers 8

The second answers: first 6.91- 1.45= 5.46 then take 5.46 and divide by 0.42 which equals 13 so your answers 13

If f(x)=1/9x-2 , what is f–1(x)?
Anna71 [15]
Lets get started :)

f(x) = \frac{1}{9}x - 2
 y   = \frac{1}{9}x - 2
This is the original equation, and now we have to find the inverse.

When finding the inverse, just flip the variables, x as y and y as x

f ⁻¹(x)
  ↓
x = \frac{1}{9}y - 2
We have to isolate y as it is our f ⁻¹(x)

Take 2 to the other side { When you see subtraction, you do addition }
x + 2 = \frac{1}{9} y

Take 9 to the other side { When you see division, you do multiplication }
9 ( x + 2 ) = y
9x + 18 = y

f ⁻¹ (x) = 9x + 18
