Answer:

The farmers built fences to keep cattle away but then the cattle drivers had less room to transfer their cattle so the cut down the farmer's fences, so farmers were mad at the cattle drivers for cutting down the fences, and the cattle drivers were mad that the farmers blocked off space with their fences.
