A majority of people over the age of sixty-five in the United States consider their health as good or excellent. When people enter the age sixty-five, health condition becomes the major concern.

EXPLANATION:

No matter how old we are now, taking care of our body healthy is important to prevent illness. Yet, people enter the age of sixty-five, as simple as flu might lead to complications. People at the age of sixty-five when they get flu they will mostly get infections as secondary infections such as bronchitis, pneumonia, sinus infection, and/or ear infection. Moreover, if people at the age of sixty-five have a chronic condition such as diabetes or asthma, the respiratory illness will get worse.

Yet, people at the age of sixty-five can stay healthy by following these tips:

1. Stay active because physical activity is an immune system booster. The more people stay active, the more the body is able to fight infections and inflammations.

2. Choose a healthy diet such as consuming more vegetables, fruits, and lean meats. These foods will give protection and serve as an immune booster to the body to fight against bacteria and viruses.

3. Take daily supplements because as people get older, the function of the body will decrease. Thus, elder people should take daily supplements such as vitamin D, vitamin B6, calcium, and vitamin B12.

4. Manage the stress because too much stress will trigger the body to produce the hormone cortisol. Too much cortisol in the body will disrupt the immune system and other functions in the body. People can manage stress by getting plenty of sleep, increasing physical activity, and taking enjoyable activities.

5. Prevent infection at the right time is an important action that has to be taken by the elderly. People at the age of sixty-five or older should visit the doctor to get an adjuvant or high-dose flu vaccine to prevent flu. It is better to get the vaccine between October and May because it is flu season in the United States.

What are the "extremely influential and particularly relevant" five moral principles of bioethics that Vaughn describes (collect
ryzh [129]

Explanation:

The five moral principles of Bioethics described by Vaughn are:

  1. Autonomy,
  2. Non-maleficence,
  3. Beneficence,
  4. Utility and
  5. Justice.

I believe that this list is complete because all five Vaughn principles are succinct and authentic, and unlike a more abstract approach, such as the normative ethical approach, such as the ethical approach to virtue and deontology, principlism corresponds to a methodology of better understanding and practicality for solving ethical dilemmas in the real world.

The five moral principles are of universal origin and not relative, because they are based on characteristics of a common morality, which is shared by all members of a society, is based on common sense and non-philosophical traditions.

This approach does not conflict with other ethical, theological and social approaches, as this is a consistent, practical approach that can be derived.
