<span>In order for us to compare a dog to a donut, the properties of life must be determined.  These properties are Organization (unicellular/multicellular), Metabolism (anabolism/catabolism), Homeostatis, Growth, Reproduction, Response and Evolution.  Since the dog has all of these properties while the donut doesn’t, therefore we can say that the dog is a living organism and the donut isn’t.</span>

What is biochemistry??
77julia77 [94]
Biochemistry is the study of the actions of the main metabolic processes of living organisms, which are protein synthesis (DNA and RNA molecules, genetic codes and how they work, enzyme formation and function, etc), glycolysis (cellular respiration, aka the Krebs cycle/citric acid cycle to break down glucose molecules to release chemical energy and oxydative phosphorylation, the use of that chemical energy to form ATP molecules in which the chemical energy is put in a form the cell can use, and lipid chemistry (the study of the pathways in which fatty acids are formed into lipids and fat molecules and cholestrol formation and function).
Essentially, biochemistry covers the chemical reactions necessary for cellular and organism metabolism

igor_vitrenko [27]

Answer: Divergence

Explanation:

One postsynaptic cell has the ability to receive the input from large number of different presynpatic cells and the divergent neurons can have connections with different postsynaptic cells.

The divergence in the neurons allows one neurons to have communication with the other neurons within a network.
