Answer: B

Explanation: LPN/LVN is Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN). They are nurses who care for the injured, sick or the disabled. They usually work under the supervision of physicians and registered nurses. They both do the same things, the difference in name is just about location, some states call them LPN while some use LVN as their designation.

It would be wrong to put the side rails down, the correct thing to do would be to place both side rails in the elevated position so as to keep the client's entire body on mattress and avoid risk of falling down or injury to the client when they roll over.

Why did Booker T. Washington feel that demanding rights was pointless for blacks in the south?
kykrilka [37]

Booker T. Washington felt that demanding civil and equal rights for African Americans were pointless in the south wherein political control was essentially handed back to confederate leaders and the government turned a blind eye towards discriminatory laws and practices in the south.

Washington asserted that if African Americans displayed themselves as hard workers, financially responsible, and economically important that the issues of civil rights and social equality would solve themselves. This was very controversial at the time as many African Americans felt that Washington’s plan would be accommodating the agenda of southern whites’ disenfranchisement activities.

How does the nullification crisis foreshadow the Civil War?
qwelly [4]

Answer:   The Nullification Crisis helped lead to the Civil War because it boiled sectional tensions between the North and he South to the surface. For instance, economic differences made it possible for the South to become dependent on the North for manufactured goods

Explanation:

John C. Calhoun, the Vice President of Andrew Jackson, supported South Carolina in their efforts to demolish the tariff

The tariff outraged Vice President John C. Calhoun. Originally, Calhoun supported tariffs because he believed they were a good source of revenue, and they did not promote the interests of one region over another. After the more tariffs were added in 1824
