The given equation is in point-slope form.  The line that represents this equation passes through the point (4,1) and has a slope of (3/2).

One way to graph this quickly would be to plot the point (4,1).  Move 2 units to the right from this point, and then (without picking up your pen) 3 units up.  Plot a dot there.  Connect the 2 points with a straight line.

What is the value of x?
Nikitich [7]

(x + 1)·(x + 1 + 11) = (x + 4)·(x + 4 + 1) --> x = 2

Dilate the circle using center (0,0) and scale factor 2<br> Pls help
gladu [14]

Answer:

look at image

Step-by-step explanation:

you're just making the circle twice as big. so since one of the points of the circle is (0,2) it would now be, (0,4) because 2 x 0 = 0 and 2 x 2 = 4.

10 POINTS!!! FULL ANSWER IN STEP BY STEP FORMAT!!
In-s [12.5K]
Remark
This question likely should be done before the other one. What you are trying to do is give C a value. So you need to remember that C is always part of an indefinite integral.

y = \int (cos(x) + sin(x) ) \, dx = \int{cos(x) \,dx + \int sin(x) \,dx
y = sin(x)  -  cos(x) + C
y(π) = sin(π) - cos(π) + C = 0
y(π) = 0  -(-1) + C = 0
y(π) = 1 + C = 0
C = - 1

y = sin(x) - cos(x) - 1  <<<<< Answer

Problem Two
Remember that y =  \int\ { \frac{1}{x} } \, dx = ln(|x|) + C
y( - e^3 ) = ln(|x|) + C = 0
y(-e^3) = ln(|-e^3|) + C = 0
y(-e^3) = 3 + C  = 0
3 + C = 0
C = - 3

y = ln(|x|) - 3  <<<< Answer
