You need to know how many types of bread there is, how many types of peanut butter there is, and what types of jelly there is. Once you have that you multiply the amount of bread, peanut butter, and jelly.

Solution:

Number of Bread of a kind = 1

Number of Crunchy peanut Butter that Carl has =?=C

Different flavors of jelly possessed by Carl =?=Z

To find the number of possible combinations which includes one kind of bread ,the information we need→→ crunchy peanut butter(How many kinds of peanut butter possessed by Carl=C), and (Number of=Z) different flavors of jelly.

Total Combination= 1 ×C×Z=C×Z

Find a solution to the following system of equations. -3x+3y=-9 -3x+y=7
V125BC [204]

Answer:

(-5, -8)

Step-by-step explanation:

-3x+3y=-9

-3x+y=7

----------------

simplify -3x+3y=-9 into x-y=3

----------------------------------------

y=x-3

-3x+y=7

------------

-3x+(x-3)=7

-3x+x-3=7

-2x-3=7

-2x=7+3

-2x=10

x=10/-2=-5

y=-5-3=-8

x=-5, y=-8

If 2 = 6, 3 =12, 4 = 20, 5 = 30, 6 = 42 then 9 = ?
Soloha48 [4]
At first you may get confused but look at those numbers carefully :)

as you see first result is divisible buy one of the product (second product in all cases is unknown)
so let's check where it will lead us :)

6/2=3

12/3=4

20/4=5

30/5=6

42/6=7

Now you can clearly see that every number was multiplied by number 1 higher than itself.
2*(2+1)=6

3*(3+1)=12

4*(4+1)=20

etc...

it means that after equation sign there should be 90 because

9*(9+1)=90 :)
