Answer with explanation:

The conditional relative frequency of rows:

It is the relative frequency corresponding to each row.

It is obtained when we divide each entry of each row by it's corresponding row total.

It is given that:

  • A school for learning foreign languages has 72 students who learn German, and 54 of those students also learn Russian.

This means that the sum of the first column i.e. who learn German is: 72

and first entry of first row is: 54

Hence, first entry of second row is: 72-54=18

  • There are 12 students who do not learn German but learn Russian.

This means that the second entry of first row is: 12

  • 10 students do not learn either German or Russian.

This means that the second entry of second row is: 10.

  • Sum of first row is: 54+12=66
  • Sum of the second row is: 18+10=28
  • Total sum is: 66+28=94
  • Sum of the second column is: 10+12=22

The FIRST TABLE is the answer.

A circle has a circumference of 45 cm. What is the BEST estimate of the circle’s diameter?
ch4aika [34]

Answer:

C) 15 cm is the best estimate.

Step-by-step explanation:

The exact answer is not there, so 15 is the best estimate.

You can use this equation to help you:

d=C/π

Where d is the diameter.

C is the circumference.

And the last one is Pi.

You know that C = 45, so divide that by Pi (3.14).

45/3.14159 = 14.32

The closest answer is 15.

Hope this helps! Have a great day!
