Answer:

remains the same over several generations.

Explanation:

According to Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium, the allele frequencies in a large and randomly mating population remain the same over several generations if no evolutionary forces are operative.

Here, evolutionary forces are mutations, natural selection, gene flow, migration, etc. To keep the allele frequencies constant, the individuals of the population should exhibit random mating and there should not be any sexual selection for a mate.

Expressivity is the term used to describe the balanced genetic output from a hemizygous condition. True or False
dem82 [27]

Answer:

The statement is FALSE.

Explanation:

In genetics, expressivity refers to the amount of variation in a non binary phenotype across individuals, who are carrying a specific genotype. Scientists believed that variable expressivity is controlled by different factors such as environment, genetics and lifestyle choice. An example of expressivity is  a series of blue eye color that has different shades of blue. Thus, expressivity is not about balanced genetic output but varied genetic expression.

By means of an example , explain how poaching leads to over utilisation of species.
Daniel [21]
Poaching refers to the illegal hunting of wild animals in violation of the laws which regulate hunting of wild animals. Over utilization refers to the exploitation of an animal to the point of extinction. Poaching activities include hunting and killing wild animals without licence, using illegal weapons to kill animals, killing animal out of season, etc. All these activities can lead to drastic reduction in the population of animal specie to the extent that the animals become extinct. A good example of an over utilized animal specie is passenger pigeon.
