Answer:

Plants release oxygen into the atmosphere during the process of photosynthesis. In photosynthesis, plants make their food in the presence of sunlight. Water is extracted from the soil and carbondioxode enters through stomata and combine in the leaves of plants make glucose and oxygen. Glucose is stored in different parts of plant body and oxygen is released into the atmosphere which is used by living organisms.

Explain why facilitated diffusion may need to occur and in what direction the particles diffuse in. Identify the molecules that
Goryan [66]

Answer:

Sometimes molecules cannot move through the cell membrane on their own. These molecules need special transport proteins to help them move across the membrane. Facilitated diffusion is the diffusion of substances with the help of transport proteins in the plasma membrane. These special proteins are called channel proteins or carrier proteins, and they are attached to the cell membrane. In fact, they go through the cell membrane, from the inside of the cell to the outside. Facilitated diffusion is used for molecules that cannot diffuse rapidly through cell membranes on their own, even when the molecules are moving from high to low concentration areas. An example is the sugar plants and animals use for energy, called glucose. Even though facilitated diffusion involves transport proteins, it is still passive transport because the solute is moving down the concentration gradient so it does not require the use of cellular energy.

Describe the behavior of the frog heart that you can elucidate from the force recording (e.g., mechanical events). How can you u
Sladkaya [172]

Answer:

P wave and R wave

Atrial contraction = P wave

Ventricular contraction = R wave

Explanation:

The behavior of the frog heart from force recording can be classified into ; P wave and R wave.

utilizing the ECG ( Electrocardiogram) data the aspect of the force recording that is due to atrial contractions is the ; P wave while the force recording that is due to ventricular contractions is the ; R wave the ventricular contractions is also known as QRS

ECG is used to record the electrical activities of a heart at rest

How does dispersal help different species? dispersal helps different species to increase their range of places, thereby helping
icang [17]

Dispersal helps different species to increase their range of places, thereby helping to increase their population size in different regions. Dispersal also helps to avoid crowding of diseases of a single location as species move to different locations.

What is dispersal?

 • Dispersal is the act of distributing things over a large area. It is when the individuals or seeds move from one site to their growing site.
 • Dispersal can be active (move by oneself) or passive (require dispersers).
 • Seed dispersal is the mechanism of transport of plant seeds to new sites for germination and the establishment of new individuals and colonies.
 • This depends upon the effectiveness of the seed dispersers.
 • Seed dispersal occurs by wind, water, animals, bats, explosions or gravity of the earth.
 • Dispersal of seeds is very important for the survival of plant species.
 • If the plants of same type grow too closely, they have to compete with each other for light, water and nutrients from the soil.
 • Seed dispersal allows plants to spread out from a wide area and avoid competing with one another for the same resources.
