If this pertain to South Africa, their government established a toll free number wherein any individual can report corruption anonymously. Aside from this, the government established strict protocols in each departments to deter people from committing corruption. There are also unannounced checks being done to its departments to ensure that if corruption practices are being done, the culpable people will be caught red-handed.

There are also independent agencies whose tasks is to investigate any reported corrupt practices like SAPS, SUI, etc.
