3/2 = (9/10)k

Isolate the k. Multiply 10/9 to both sides

(3/2)(10/9) = (9/10)(10/9)k

Simplify

(3/2)(10/9) = k

3/9 = 1/3

10/2 = 5

5 x 1/3 = 5/3

k = 5/3, or 1 2/3
