Answer:

The correct answer is A: Walter´s foolishness.

Explanation:

"A Raisin in the Sun" is a play that was written by author Lorraine Hansberry and it had its first debut in 1959, in Broadway. In essence, this play portrays the adventures and situations that an African American family must face when they receive the life insurance money for their deceased father and they decide to use it to transform their lives into what they believe would make them more like white people. As such, while Mama, the mother of the family wishes to use the money to buy a house in a white neighborhood, she is finally convinced by her son, Walter, to give him the rest of the 10.000 dollars she received after having bought the house, to invest it in a liquor store with a group of friends. However, Mama also makes it clear to Walter that she wants a piece of the money to be saved up for her daughter´s Beneatha´s medical schooling. In Act III, after Walter has received the money from his mother to use for his endeavour, he and his best friend, Bobo, give the money to Willy, another of their partners, who, without a second thought, takes off with the money and is never heard from again. Walter foolishly believed that Willy would be a loyal enough friend to not misuse their money; but Willy has not remorse in doing just the opposite.

Answer:

The correct answer here is A: Implementing fiscal policy concerning taxation and government spending

Explanation:

The Federal Reserve, which was established in 1913 by the U.S Congress as a means to better control and balance the financial and economical spheres of the nation, works nowadays like the biggest and most important banking institution that regulates the money supply, surpluss, lack, credit availability, and any other functions regarding the control of money, and credit, flow, to maintain the economy always stable. Although they do influence policy-making processes regarding money spenditure and money control, it is not within their scope of actions to either implement, or enact, any taxation policies, or affect government spending. Women's rights have historically been restricted by the Supreme Court's use of which of the following?
Aloiza [94]

Answer:

Women's rights have historically been restricted by the Supreme Court using the reasonableness standard.

Explanation:

The reasonableness standard is used in US courts to understand whether a plaintiff or defendant acted reasonably in a harassment situation, for example, and it has been used in cases against police where the plaintiff claims excessive violence was used. There is also the "reasonable woman standard" that has been used in US Supreme Court Cases like Harris vs. Forklift Systems 510 US 17 (1993).  The Supreme Court sided in favor of Harris who had to appeal two lower court decisions that found that Harris was not sufficiently psychologically impacted for the case to constitute harassment.  The reasonableness standard can be seen as limiting because it imposes the standards of what men find reasonable in a sexual situation and coworker relationship at the expense of what women may find uncomfortable or inappropriate.

In terms of Douglas McGregor's theory of motivation, how would you best describe Shandra's management style?
Artemon [7]

Theory X is referred from McGregor's theory of motivation. Through this theory we can well describe the concept of Shandra's management style which explains the method of employees developing their self-interest beyond the limit of the highest level of capability.

Explanation:

The basic task of employees is clearly explained in all company policies. The policies describe the duty and responsibilities of each employee to contribute their valid services for paying compensation. But the employees need to fully realize their full potentiality and try to develop their duty consciousness by sharpening their working skills.

The working style of Shandra's propagates the best idea of utilizing the skills with utmost intelligence by transforming the act of employees from laziness to active operation of work. It is also well mentioned in the HR policies relating to a general system of organizational behavior.

In 1793, Eli Whitney invented the cotton gin, a machine to remove cotton from the seeds. This great invention allowed one field
Tems11 [23]

More people were needed to plant and pick cotton so plantation owners used slaves to fill these positions.

Explanation:

The invention of the "cotton gin by Eli" Whitney resulted in tremendous production in America and other industrial estates. However, it was associated with another far-fetched issue along-side.

Before the invention of the cotton gin, there was general slack in demand of slaves. The coming of cotton gin meant the humongous need for raw cotton since the machine can process the raw cotton at a faster pace than any other machines available contemporarily.

This rapid need for raw cotton was substituted by employing slaves in the cotton field for their production and collection. This caused an increased need for slave once again.
