the difference of  x/25x-125-1/x^2-5x (x/25x-125)-1/(x^2-5x)=  x / 25(x-5)   -  1/ x(x-5) = (1/x-5)(x/25-1/x) factorized by 1/x-5, and (1/x-5)(x/25-1/x) = (1/x-5)(x²-25/25x)= (1/x-5)  [(x-5)(x+5) / 25x]= (x+5) / 25x  simplified by x-5so the final answer is  x/25x-125-1/x^2-5x = (x+5) / 25x

If f(x) = 5x + 4, which of the following is the inverse of Ax)?
Levart [38]

Answer:

f^{-1} (x) = \frac{x-4}{5}

Step-by-step explanation:

let y = f(x) and rearrange making x the subject, that is

y = 5x + 4 ( subtract 4 from both sides )

y - 4 = 5x ( divide both sides by 5 )

\frac{y-4}{5} = x

change x to f^{-1}(x) and y back to x, thus

f^{-1}(x) = \frac{x-4}{5}

How is the graph of the parent function y= hurrrr!!!x2 transformed to produce the graph of y= 3(x+1)2? It is translated 1 unit r
crimeas [40]

Answer:

3.

Step-by-step explanation:

The graph is being moved to the left and then stretched by a factor of three. If it were to be compressed than the 3 would be 1/3.

How you would solve this problem. 3n=15
Sergio [31]

Answer: n=5

Step-by-step explanation: You are solving for ‘n’ so you would want to get ‘n’ by itself on one side of the equation. The easiest way to do this would be to divide both sides by 3, which would make ‘3n’ turn to ‘n’ and 15 into 5.

Solve the system using the method of your choice: y = 2x – 2
Masteriza [31]
Y = 2x - 2

x + 3y = 15

I'll do substitution by solving for y:

y = 2x - 2

Solve for y for the second equation:

y = 5 - x/3

Substitute:

2x - 2 = 5 - x/3

Add x/3 to both sides:

7x/3 - 2 = 5

Add 2:

7x/3 = 7

Multiply by 3:

7x = 21

Divide by 7:

x = 3

Substitute x in for one of the original equations:

y = 2(3) - 2

y = 6 - 2

y = 4

The solution set is (3, 4).
