The phrase Civil disobedience, disobedience means lack of respect for the rule of law, however, the word civil means this actions by citizens is peaceful or undertaken without violence. Therefore, this can be termed as citizens embarking in a non-violent protest in other to make or request a lingering demand from its government, show their displeasure towards a certain policy or action with which the citizens demands a responsible response from thier government. All these are to be conducted in a peaceful, non, violent manner in other to be termed civil. However, often times we've seen protests starting out as civil and turned bloody, on the leading to destruction of properties and irreplaceable losses in lives of citizens. These costs are too high just for the government to hear our plea, a more effective means will be the creation of a government - citizen dialogue channel which would annual losses during protests in the name of calling for cahgws or making ourselves heard.
