I agree with student 1, but we should also question how the study participants were recruited. Maybe the people who were surveyed do not represent the broader population. This should have been discussed by the authors as another limitation of the study. Student 3: The claim is believable. The sample size used in the study is 12,000 adults. That is large enough to minimize any of the limitations of the study suggested by the other two students and therefore did not need to be discussed by the authors.
