Since cube has all faces as Squares

perimeter of each face P = 22.2
as we know perimeter of a square is P = 4 * ( Sides of a square )

let the sides of the square be 'x'

Hence , 22.2 = 4 * x

=> x = 22.2/4
=> x = 5.55

hence the edge's length is 5.55

Note : if the length from edge to edge is asked then

Length of the Diagonal for a cube =
\sqrt{3}  \times x
Hence we get edge to edge length as

√3 * 5.55 = 9.612

A coffee distributor plans to mix some Rift Valley coffee that normally sells for $12.10 per pound with some Mexican Shade Grown
-BARSIC- [3]

Answer:

24 pounds of Rift Valley coffee

26 pounds of Mexican Shade Grown coffee

Step-by-step explanation:

If R is pounds of Rift Valley coffee, and M is pounds of Mexican Shade Grown coffee, then:

R + M = 50

12.10 R + 13.10 M = 12.62 (50)

Substitute:

12.10 R + 13.10 (50 − R) = 12.62 (50)

12.10 R + 655 − 13.10 R = 631

R = 24

M = 26

Suppose the inside bottom of a box is painted with three colors: one-third of the bottom area is blue, one-sixth is red, and one
miss Akunina [59]

Answer:

The probability that the pebble will NOT land on color blue is 0.67.

Step-by-step explanation:

We attribute the box area as the probability of the events.

So the probability of landing in the Red Area is 1/6, the probability of landing in the Blue Area is 1/3 and the probability of landing in the Yellow Area is 1/2.

P(Red)=\frac{1}{6}

P(Yellow)=\frac{1}{2}

P(Blue)=\frac{1}{3}

The probability of landing in NOT Blue area is given by:

P(Not Blue)=1-P(Blue)=1-\frac{1}{3}=\frac{2}{3} =0.67

Part A If their food and beverages cost $25.30 and there is an 8% meals tax, how much is the bill? (Find the 8% tax then add it
dmitriy555 [2]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Tax

Meal plus tax = 25.3 + 8/100 * 25.3

Meal plus tax = 25.3 + 2.024             Round later. Find the total.

Meal plus tax = 27.324

Meal plus tax = 27.32 rounded to the nearest cent.

Tip

Total cost = 27.324 + 27.324 * 18 /100

Total cost = 4.91832 + 27.324

Total cost = 32.242

Rounded to nearest cent = 32.24     You should always round at the last step.
