I believe it’s 12 minutes since the since the time is unknown, you set it up as x/20+x/30 since you know that they are being added. Filling up the canteen is 1 because you want it full all the way so you find the common denominator and solve for the x which is 12

Margie needs to know the square footage for the first floor of the condo her client wants to make an offer on. The kitchen is 10
irga5000 [103]

Answer:

D. 850 square foot

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of a space is the length

multiply by the width

The area for the kitchen, dining, office and sunroom will be calculated independently and added together.

Note the word "and the office and sunroom are each 10 feet by 10 feet"

Kitchen area = 10 ft x 15ft= 150sqft

Living/Dining area = 20ftx25ft= 500sqft

Sunroom = 10ftx10ft= 100sqft

Office= 10ftx10ft=100sqft

Therefore total surface area is the cumulative of the 4 areas

150sqft+500sqft+100sqft+100sqft= 850sqft
