I believe that the pattern that would be expected is both 14 N and 15 N, this is because the DNA was replicated in a conservative manner. Semi conservative replication would produce two copies that each contained one of the original strands and one new strand, while Conservative replication would leave the two original template DNA strands together in a double helix and would produce a copy composed of two new strands containing all of the new DNA base pairs

netineya [11]

Answer: Natural selection can be defined as the differential survival and reproduction of members of the population of a species that have suitable traits to survive in a population of species.

Explanation:

The punctuated changes in the population of species have been found inordinately faster in the geological time scale, but changes per-generation have been relatively slow. Also, the rate of evolution in such a population is also slow. The punctuated changes in the population are because of evolution but the per-generation changes are the outcomes of the natural selection, in which only the beneficial traits are passed from one generation to another.

When the comb jelly, Mnemiopsis leidyi, was introduced into the Black Sea, its population exploded to 500 comb jellies per cubic
nikitadnepr [17]

The answer is invasive species.

Invasive species are species that are not native to specific ecosystem, but they have a capability to spread widely through the ecosystem, This way they can threaten native species of the ecosystem or cause environmental harm.

After being introduced into the Black Sea, they greatly affect local ecosystem. In the new area, they have no natural predators and are able to spread. If they spread beyond the area they are introduced, they become invasive species which can overgrow native biotopes and are a great threat to the local biodiversity. This could lead to the extinction of some native species.
