That's right. The American Revolution was the first instance of guerrilla warfare; they had home turf advantage and were able to catch the British off guard frequently.
Half of the US would be part of Mexico, Texas was the first Mexican territory to become part of the US so the rest weren't hard to get since Texas was so big. I personally wish Texas would've stayed because if it would've, Mexico, my country, would be as powerful as the US.

A and B is out because these undoubtedly are unique Chinese achievements. So is D. The Chinese are infamous for these things. Other achievements include gunpowder, fireworks, ect.
C is basically the answer because the chinese aren't the only race or country to do so. Many people have done it in the past before them and present in the terms of civilization. It isn't simply uniquely or originally from them.
