Remember some simple log rules

log(a)+log(b)=log(ab)
and
log(a)-log(b)=log(\frac{a}{b})

work from left to right

log(12)-log(4)+log(5)=
log(\frac{12}{4})+log(5)=
log(3)+log(5)=
log(3*5)=
log(15)

The distance between two towns on a map is 9 centimeters. the actual distance between two towns is 63 kilometers. what is the sc
Ilia_Sergeevich [38]
If your trying to find the unit rate or the scale of the map, you need to figure out how many kilometers are per centimeters. To get that you need to do 63 divided by 9, witch would get you 7. So to my ability, the answer would be 1 cm per 7 kilometers. Hopefully this answer helped you and I'm hoping its correct.
