Which of the following statements is true?
kogti [31]

The correct answer is option D, that is since genetic drift is random, it does not always favor the better or healthier organisms.

A mechanism of evolution in which the frequencies of alleles of a population change with generations because of sampling error is known as genetic drift. It takes place in all the populations of non-infinite size, however, its influences are strongest in small populations.

Choose the law that BEST explains the example:
german

Answer:

3rd law

Explanation:

First law of Newtons :

Newton's First Law states that, unless an external force acts on it, an object will remain in a straight line in rest or uniform motion.

The second law of Newtons :

The second law states that an object's acceleration depends on two variables-the net force that acts on the object and the object's mass.

The change in the linear momentum of the object is equal to the force.

Third law of Newtons :

This law states that every action has its reaction with the same magnitude but in the opposite direction.

When we push the wall , then the wall does not move because the wall is fixed but we skid opposite to the direction of applied force because wall offers an opposite force on our body.

Therefore the answer is "third law".

Why was helium and hydrogen the first elements to show up in the universe?
laiz [17]

Hey there! I could help you out with your question.

According to research it claims that "Within about 3 minutes after the Big Bang, conditions cooled enough for these protons and neutrons to form hydrogen nuclei. ... This is when recombination occurred — neutral hydrogen (and helium) finally appeared because they could “recombine with” (hold on to) electrons without easily losing them to stray radiation."The Big Bang created the elements on the periodic table, building blocks that help make up the universe. ... In stars, hydrogen atoms fuse to create helium — the second most common element in the universe, according to Encyclopedia.com. Helium has two protons, two neutrons and two electrons. Hydrogen is known to be the first element in the periodic table of elements. It has one proton in its nucleus and one outter electron. It is a very light gas and also flammable. ... Its atomic symbol is H and its atomic number is one.
