The right answer is aqueous medium (or water solution).

Because of its ubiquity, water has long been considered an inert liquid simply filling the intermolecular spaces in living organisms. It represents about 65% of the mass of living beings. All constituents of the cell "bathe" in an aqueous environment. It is in this environment that the exchanges between the cells take place, that the reactions of the metabolism take place, etc.

Nearly all of the body's chemical reaction, including those that produce energy and build new tissues, take place in the aqueous medium.

Further Explanation:

The collection of all the chemical reactions that help in the maintenance of the living state of cells and the organism is said to be metabolism. The metabolites are the reactants that participate in the metabolism.

There are two basic varieties of metabolic reactions occurring in the cell they are; Catabolism and Anabolism. Anabolism is the process in which the bonds between the molecules are formed. The compounds that are needed by the cells are formed by the process of anabolism. The energy is required during this process. Catabolism on the other hand is the process that helps in generation of energy by the breakage of bonds in the metabolites. This energy is utilized by the cellular components. The formation of dipeptides from the amino acids and formation of disaccharides from sugar moieties are the examples of anabolic reactions. Respiration isthe examples of catabolic reactions.

All the cell organelles that are the site for these metabolic reactions are present in the fluid called cytoplasm. The cytoplasm is the aqueous medium which is majorly composed of water. Water being inert do not interfere in these reactions and therefore, all the body’s chemical reactions take place in the aqueous medium.

How can playing sports define sexuality
mote1985 [20]

Gender refers to the socially constructed differences between women and men, while the term ‘‘sex’’ is a reference to the biological and physical differences between males and females. Gender draws attention to the socially unequal distinction between femininity and masculinity. Femininity is used to describe characteristic behaviors and emotions of females and masculinity refers to the distinctive actions and feelings of the male sex. In studies of gender and sports, the concept of gender is analytically distinguished from that of sex even though the two are often used synonymously in everyday language and thought. Not all the differences between females and males are biological. But historically, ideas about the implications of biological differences between women and men have served to justify the exclusion or limited inclusion of women in sports. Such views reflect an ideology of biological determinism, where it is claimed that men, and not women, are inherently strong, aggressive, and competitive and, therefore, better suited to sports.
