The answer is exposition because this sounds like the beginning of a story, it doesn’t have something crazy in it so it’s not a climax. It’s not the end of the story because that wouldn’t make sense and it wouldn’t make sense for a denouncement either.

"Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God" is a classic sermon of the Great Awakening. The aim of the narrative and language employed is to impose a sense of fear. It tries to make clear that hell in fact exists and all the suffering that awaits us if we refuse to confess our sins and be saved by God.

Hope this helps!

Why would an author choose to use satire?
-Dominant- [34]

An author would choose to use satire- C. To make readers with opposing viewpoints consider an issue more deeply.

  • A satire is a rhetorical strategy employed by the speaker or author to highlight the social injustices and corruption that exist today. In order to emphasise the urgency of taking action, the author creates satire by exaggerating the tools of irony and humour.
  • Satire's dual goals of amusement and education encourage its audience to take action on the issue that is brought up in the satirical text.

Thus, Satire employs humour to deal with serious circumstancesand contrasting viewpoints.
