Stereotypes can have a NEGATIVE effect in my opinion. Having people seperated into different groups cause drama. Like High school Cliques. A normal "stereotype" for my country would be Im guessing Rednecks.. They think that because they wear cowboy boots they can ride horses and in most cases thats not true.
