One cubic centimeter is equal to one milliliter. Cubic centimeter is used interchangeably with millimeter. Centimeter belongs in the CGS unit system (centimeter-gram-second system) while liter belongs in the SI (<span>Système International d'Unités</span>)  unit system. These two are equal.
