<span>Ensuring that all citizens have equality under the law.

Every adult gets an opinion in a democracy. We choose our presidents, state officials, and more. Then the people we choose also choose other decisions for us. That's why it's so stressed to vote for more than just president. 

Also, all citizens are treated fairly or at least supposed to be, (by law).</span>
