Trigonometric functions aren't to do with triangles specifically, they are to do with angles.

So no, they aren't only for right angled triangles.

For example, the formula (1/2)ab * sin(c) calculates the area of a triangle, and will work on isosceles and scalene triangles.

Write 2 equivalent ratios for each ratio given:
2/7
3:3 1/2

2.5 to 6
goldenfox [79]

Answer:

2/7 = 4/14

3:3 = 6:6

1/2 = 2/4

2.5:6 = 5:12

Step-by-step explanation:

For the first one, we can multiply the numerator and denominator of the fraction by 2 to get an equivalent fraction which is 4/14

For the second one we can multiply each side by 2 to get the ratio of 6:6

For the third one we can multiply the numerator and denominator by 2 to get 2/4

For the last one we can multiply each side by 2 to get 5:12
