360° = angle A + angle C + angle B + angle D                         ---> 1

angle A + angle C = angle B + angle D                                       ---> 2

Substituting equation 2 to 1:

360 = 2 (angle A + angle C)

angle A + angle C = 180

(x + 16) + (6x – 4) = 180
