Answer:

52 cm^2

Step-by-step explanation:

To find the rectangular area on the bottom you multiply 3 by 5 = 15 cm^2.

To find the triangular area on the sides you multiply 4 by 3 = 12 cm^2 then divide by 2 = 6 cm^2, but since there are 2 of them you multiply by 2 again and end up with a surface area of 12 cm^2.

To find the square area on the top you multiply 5 by 5 = 25 cm^2.

So the total surface area is 25+15+12 = 52 cm^2.

<em>Note: cm^2 represents cm squared</em>

Answer:

C = \frac{40\,donas}{100\,panes}\times (140\,panes)\times \left(8\,\frac{USD}{dona} \right)

C = 448\,USD

C = \frac{25\,bolillos}{100\,panes}\times (140\,panes)\times \left(8\,\frac{USD}{bolillo}\right)

C = 280\,USD

Se obtuvo $ 280 de ganancia por la venta de bolillos.

i) Area = length x width

=250 x 100

= 25000 cm2

ii) it is a square so the sides are equal

Area = 10 x 10

= 100cm2

iii) 25000/100

250 tiles will be needed

Iv) one tile is 4.75 dollars

Total tiles are 250

Cost for tiling

=250 x 4.75

=1187.5

Hope this helps

M(x) = x² - 4x + 3
m(x) = x² - x - 3x + 3
m(x) = x(x - 1) - 3(x - 1)
m(x) = (x - 3)(x - 1)

(x - 3)(x - 1) = 0
x - 3 = 0 ∧ x - 1 = 0
<u>x = 3 ∧ x = 1</u>

or

m(x) = x² - 4x + 3
Δ = (-4)² - 4 · 1 · 3
Δ = 16 - 12 = 4
√Δ = √4
√Δ = 2

x = (4 - 2)/2 ∧ x = (4 + 2)/2
x = 2/2 ∧ x = 6/2
<u>x = 1 ∧ x = 3</u>
