When you multiply anything by a number like 10, 100, 1000, or 10000 (basically anything that starts with 1 and ends with a bunch of zeros) you just add those zeros. so to answer your question 39×1000= 39000 and 50×1000= 50000

What is the ratio of the two values and what new value do they produce? $280 in 7m
3241004551 [841]

Answer:

The ratio between two values A and B is just the quotient between these two values:

ratio = A/B

a) $280 in 7m

Here the ratio is:

$280/7m = $40/m

This also can be read as:

$40 per meter.

b) 105 miles in 2 hours

Here the ratio is:

105mi/2h = 52.5 mi/h

This also can be read as:

52.5 miles per hour

c) $33 for 5lb

The ratio is:

$33/5lb = $6.6/lb

This can be read as:

$6.6 per pound.

d) 50 pages in 2 hours

the ratio is:

(50 pages)/2h = 25 pages/h

this can be read as:

25 pages per hour.

HELP ASAP!!!!! Given: Point B is on the perpendicular bisector of AC¯¯¯¯¯. BD¯¯¯¯¯ bisects AC¯¯¯¯¯ at point D. Prove: B is equid
Harlamova29_29 [7]

Answer:  Missing parts are,

In first blank,  AD\cong DC,

In second blank, SAS postulate

In third blank, CPCTC postulate

Step-by-step explanation:

Since, Here D is the mid point on the line segment AC.

And BD is a perpendicular to the line AC.

Therefore, In triangles ADB and CDB ( shown in figure)

AD\cong DC ( By the definition of mid point)

\angle BDA\cong \angle BDC ( right angles )

BD\cong BD ( reflexive)

Thus, By SAS ( side angle side )postulate,

\triangle ADB\cong \triangle CDB

So, by CPCTC( Corresponding parts of congruent triangles are congruent)

AB\cong CB

Now, By definition of congruent segment,

AB=CB

By definition of equidistant,

B is equally far from both A and C.

When a negative number multiplies a negative number, it becomes positive

since it is multiplication, just multiply across, you do not need same denominators

5/8 x 16/25 = 80/200

80/200 = 40/100 = 20/50 = 2/5

2/5 is your answer

hope this helps
