Try this option:
According to property such triangle
1. area=0.5*a*b, where a and b - the sides of angle 90°.
Using this equation: 180=0.5*40*b, ⇒ b=9.
2. c²=a²+b², ⇒c=√(9²+40²)=41 - the third side of the triangle;
3. Perimeter=a+b+c=9+40+41=90 cm.

answer: 90 cm.

The reason why I did this is because x represents the number of hours worked. 30 is the flat rate and the customer needs to spend less than $75 so I put the less than sign

There are (2^4)^2 ⋅ 2^0 books in a cupboard. What is the total number of books in the cupboard?
irinina [24]
Hey there!

First of all, we can get rid of that 2 ^{0}. Anyting to the power of 0 is equal to one.

Now, we can apply our rule of a power to a power which states that:

(x^{a})^y =  x^{ay}

Therefore, since we have two to the fourth raised to the second power, we just multiply the powers to get 2^8, or C.

Hope this helps!
