Answer:

A storm that produces lightning and thunder is a thunderstorm.

Explanation:

A thunderstorm is a phenomenon that is characterized by the presence of two or more air masses that are at different temperatures. This thermal contrast causes the atmosphere to become unstable, causing rains, winds, lightning, thunder and lighting.

Although scientifically defined as a storm to that cloud capable of producing audible thunder, they are also called thunderstorms in general to violent atmospheric phenomena that, on the surface of the earth are associated with rain, ice, hail, electricity, snow or strong winds.

The activity cycle of a storm usually presents an initial phase of formation, an intermediate one of maturity and another end of decay that lasts around one or two hours. But generally there are several convective cells that occur simultaneously, so the phenomenon can last up to days.

A thunderstorm needs moisture, unstable rising air and a lifting mechanism that pushes the air.

The canopy in tropical forests is single layered, allowing light penetration throughout the forest floor.
e-lub [12.9K]
I believe that is false. The canopy can block 95% of the light. I might be wrong about which kind of forest though.
