False as the plasma cells differs from the B cell in having larger size and secreting the antibodies.

Further Explanation:

Plasma cells are formed from the antigen activated B-cells which is one of the type of leukocyte present in the secondary lymphoid organs like spleen and lymph nodes. Plasma cell starts to reside in the bone marrow after its formation. The plasma cells continues to generate the thousands of antibody against antigen that helps our body to provide immunity against the same.

An antibody which is also known as the immunoglobulin is a protective protein secreted in response to the entrance of foreign substance into the body of an organism. The antigens are recognized as foreign in an organism because the surface of the body has presence of molecules that is not recognized as the self-molecule by that organism.

The antibody consists of two type of chain:

1. Heavy chain

2. Light chain

Antibody coats the antigen surface and then present the antigen to the phagocytes. There can be five classes of antigen that may differ in their constant region or the variable region.

The B-cell when encounters the antigen it divides and forms memory cell and a well differentiated cell called as plasma cell.

The plasma cell differs from the B-cell in having larger size and secreting the antibodies. The B-cell has antibodies present on their surface while plasma cell secretes these into the blood.

Answer:

A hummingbird feeding: Mutualism

Explain Interaction: The hummingbird drinks the nectar from the flower and the hummingbird may help pollinate the flower.

I'm a bit confused by the plants on the floor one.

Plants on a Forest Floor: Competition

Explain Interaction: The plants on the forests floor compete with each other for the same resources. Both may not receive enough of those resources. Note: When I was around Middle School and High-school I was only taught mutualism, commensalism, and parasitism, so let me know if competition is not a choice your teacher gives you to choose from or wasn't taught to you

Flea bites human: Parasitism

Explain Interaction: The flea drinks the persons blood as food and the person is hurt. Flea bites can be itchy and become painful. Fleas may also also carry disease.

Clownfish in Anemone: Mutualism (although I hear some people say commensalism)

Explain Interaction: The anemone provides protection and a place to live for the clownfish. The anemone may eat bits of food left over from the clownfish.

Which is the best example of competition in a forest ecosystem?
Troyanec [42]

Answer:

The correct answer would be (D) Blue jays and finches nest in the same oak trees.

Competition is a type of ecological relationship between the organisms of the same or different species in which they compete for the same resources.

Limitation of any one resource used by both the organisms would become the limiting factor.

For example, blue jays and finches depend on the same oak tree for their nesting. Thus, limitation or decrease in the number of oak trees can become the limiting factor.

Excess protein intake can result in ________.
Andreas93 [3]
Consuming enough protein is important because the broken down protein is used for energy. Consuming relatively high or excess protein is still safe and healthy but too much of it can be associated with different complications in the body.

Some of the problems associated with the excess protein are: (1) weight gain, (2) reduced liver and brain function, and (3) high cholesterol.
