Answer:
You need to attach something to this?
Step-by-step explanation:
I could help you but theres nothing here to see?
Okay, so these problems can be quite tricky because a lot of it is remembering little rules but let me tell you how you can figure out this one! :)
Also just a little warning is that I'm not quite good at remembering the math terms for different parts so please don't mind that :P
Alright, since G is the centroid then it is in the middle of BE! That means segment BE is cut into two different parts! A 1/3 part and a 2/3 part. You can probably tell by looking which part is which because 1/3 is less than 2/3.
Hopefully you get what I'm saying so far :)
Now since you know there are two parts (a 1/3 and 2/3 segmet of BE). You can just figure each of them out considering you know BE's whole length! So 1/3 of 9 is 3 and 2/3 of 9 is 6. SO the 1/3 section is equal to 3 and the 2/3 section is equal to 6!!!! Now you practically have your answer right there!
Notice that the bigger part is segment GE (the 2/3 part) and the smaller part is BG (the 1/3 part). Since you know the 1/3 and 2/3 equal and what segment they are you have the answer!
BG = 3 and GE = 6
I really hope that helps! ^-^ Let me know if you have any questions! :3

Answer:
~ x = 12 centimeters of the route on map ~
Step-by-step explanation:
Let us plan out our steps, and solve for each:
1. We can see that we have to determine the cm of the route on the map, so let us convert the 1.8 kilometers ⇒ centimeters:
1.8 km = 180,000 cm
2. Given the information, let us create a proportionality as such:
1 = 15,000 ⇒ x - centimeters of the route on the map
x 180,000
3. Now let us cross multiply, and solve through simple algebra for x:
15,000 * x = 180,000,
x = 12 centimeters of the route on map
