11 hours 18 min 36 sec to hours
zlopas [31]
I'm not really sure about this math but I tried to answer it for you

1)Convert 11 hours to minutes = 660 minutes. 11 hours x 60 mins=660
2)Add the 18 minutes to 660 =678 minutes
3) 678 divided by 60 mins = 11.3 hours, but we still have the 36 seconds remaining so I didn't exactly divide 678 minutes by 60, but I divided 678.36 by 60 which gave me 11.306 hours.

That's it I truly apologise if this is wrong. But if you figure out the right method please show me and others who may have done it this way or another way, so please share. GOOD LUCK.

Neko [114]

Step-by-step explanation:

  • 8(3f-g)

when f=9, g=-3, then

  • 8(3×9-(-3))
  • 8(27+3)
  • 8(30)

The line passing through (-2,5) and (2,p) has a gradient of -1/2. <br><br> Fnd the value of p
makkiz [27]

Given:

The line passing through (-2,5) and (2,p) has a gradient of -\dfrac{1}{2}.

To find:

The value of p.

Solution:

If a line passes through two points, then the slope of the line is:

m=\dfrac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}

The line passing through (-2,5) and (2,p). So, the slope of the line is:

m=\dfrac{p-5}{2-(-2)}

m=\dfrac{p-5}{2+2}

m=\dfrac{p-5}{4}

It is given that the gradient or slope of the line is -\dfrac{1}{2}.

\dfrac{p-5}{4}=-\dfrac{1}{2}

On cross multiplication, we get

2(p-5)=-4(1)

2p-10=-4

2p=-4+10

2p=6

Divide both sides by 2.

p=3

Therefore, the value of p is 3.

One number is 5 more than the other. Their sum is 33. Find the numbers.
dimaraw [331]

Answer:

19,14

Step-by-step explanation:

x=5+y

x+ y= 33

we will solve using substitution

(5+y) +y= 33

5+y+y=33

5+2y=33

subtract 5 from both sides

2y=28

y=14

We got y now we will find what x is

for this, we will substitute y's value (14) into the first equation

x=5+(14)

x=19

we got x too
