The answer is 45 feet. You would set up the problem as two ratios, 4 inches to 30 feet and 6 inches to x feet. You would then cross multiply to solve for x where 4x = 180 and x = 45 feet.

Enter the equivalent distance in km in the box.
devlian [24]
100 cm = 1m

To find 60 000cm, multiply by 600 :
60 000 cm = 600m

To convert from m to km, divide by 1000 :
600m ÷ 1000 = 0.6km

(Even though 38.5% of the marbles in the jar are blue,
they didn't get picked that often.)

-- The relative frequency of green was  (18/60)  =  30 % .
(Even though only 26.9% of the marbles in the jar are green,
they got picked more often than that.)

-- The relative frequency of red was  (22/60)  =  (36 and 2/3) % .
(Even though 42.3% of the marbles in the jar are red,
they didn't get picked that often.)
