So u have to narrow the equation down so that you are left with a variable and a number. The number will represent the variable. To narrow it down, subtract or divide. If you do one of these to one side, you HAVE to do it to the other.

One cup of cooked zucchini has 1.9 grams of protein. How much protein is in 0.5 cup off zucchini?
Basile [38]
I am pretty sure it is 0.95. This is because 0.5 is half of a whole. So, half of 1.9 is 0.95. :) I hope this helped.

Find the specified nth term of each geometric sequence.<br><br><br> a4 = 10, r = 2, n = 9
Degger [83]

Answer:

a_{n} = 1.25(2)^{n-1}

Step-by-step explanation:

Geometric Sequence is the sequence in which every digit is the same multiplier of its previous digit.

The formula of Geometric Sequence is: a_{n} = a_{1}(r)^{n-1}

We have given value of 4th term i.e.

a_{4} = a_{1}(2)^{4-1}

⇒ 10 = a_{1} (2)^{3}

⇒ a_{1} = \frac{10}{(2)^{3}}

⇒ a₁ = 1.25

Hence, the nth term of each sequence is: a_{n} = 1.25(2)^{n-1}
