What is the slope of this line? y=−1/3x+1/4 PLEASE HELP!!! i have to take a diagnostic test rn!!!
mojhsa [17]
Quick answer -1/3

Longer answer, so the slope intercept format is y=mx+b where m is the slope and b is the y intercept. Thus we just look where m is and in this case it is -1/3

Jack and Andrea want to create a right triangle together using values of x and y and the polynomial identity to generate Pythago
leva [86]

A right triangle can be considered as a special type because the relationship of its sides can be described using the hypotenuse formula:

c^2 = a^2 + b^2

or

c^2 = x^2 + y^2

where,

c is the hypotenuse of the triangle and is the side opposite to the 90° angle

while a and b are the sides adjacent to the 90° angle

In the problem statement, we are given that one of the side has a measure of 2 = x, while the hypotenuse is 5 = c, therefore calculating for y:

y^2 = c^2 – x^2

y^2 = 5^2 – 2^2

y^2 = 21

y = 4.58

The natural number is the number before the decimal. Therefore the answer is:

y = 4

Write two different rational functions whose graphs have the same end behaviour as the graph of y=3x^2
baherus [9]

Answer:

               y=x^2+5x+20\\ \\ y=8x^2+35

Explanation:

The <em>end behavior</em> of a <em>rational function</em> is the limit of the function as x approaches negative infinity and infinity.

Note that the the values of even functions are the same for ± x. That implies that their limits for ± ∞ are equal.

The limits of the quadratic function of general form y=ax^2+bx+c as x approaches negative infinity or infinity, when a  is positive, are infinity.

That is because as the absolute value of x gets bigger y becomes bigger too.

In mathematical symbols, that is:

\lim_{x \to -\infty}3x^2=\infty\\ \\ \lim_{x \to \infty}3x^2=\infty

Hence, the graphs of any quadratic function with positive coefficient of the quadratic term will have the same end behavior as the graph of y = 3x².

Two examples are:

         y=x^2+5x+20\\ \\ y=8x^2+35

Escribe el número que tenga el mismo valor que 28 decenas
adoni [48]

Answer:

280

Step-by-step explanation:

<u><em>The question in English is</em></u>

Write the number that has the same value as 28 tens

we know that

One tens is equal to the number 10

so

To find out the value of 28 tens, multiply the number 28 by 10

28(10)=280
