The component of intercultural competence that Melinda is lacking is the understanding of other people’s behaviors and the individual’s way of thinking. It is because she clearly does not think of the feelings of other people and whether her way of communication will offend them.

Answer:

Appropriateness

Explanation:

In group work, it is required to create an environment where each of the members can work productively. The power of the group comes from assisting each other, interacting. It is also necessary to communicate and have a friendly relationship with the group while working and giving suggestion regarding the work. Melinda lacks the quality by showing overconfidence and giving orders to others to do as she says.

Why can't a dictatorship also be a democracy
Mashcka [7]
In a democracy, the people are the ones who have the power and the people rule either directly or through elected representatives. However in a  dictatorship, a single person or political entity has the power and they do not ask the consent of the people. So a dictatorship can't be a democracy because the people do not have the power.
