Hey!

The first step to solving this inequality is to add 15 to both sides. We do this so as to get the variable ( x ) on its own. This can also be known as simplifying the inequality.

<em>Original Inequality :</em>
x - 15 <span>≥ 8

<em>New Inequality {Added Plus 15 to Both Sides} :</em>
x - 15 + 15 </span><span>≥ 8 + 15

Now we simplify the equation by solving -15 + 15 and 8 + 15.

<em>Old Inequality :</em>
x - 15 + 15 </span><span>≥ 8 + 15

<em>New Inequality {Old Inequality Simplified} :</em>
x </span><span>≥ 23

Now, that is, in fact, the solution but since I'm not sure which form you need, I've written it in other forms as well.

Solution </span>→  x <span>≥ 23

Interval Notation </span>→  [ 23, ∞ )

Below, I have also attached a graph that shows how this inequality should be graphed.

Hope this helps!

F 4x * X = 4xsquared
O 4x* -3 = -12x
I. 6xX = 6x
L. 6*-3 = -18
collect like terms:
answer= 4x2 - 6x -18
the 4x is squared :)

b)
one zero of the funtion can be: x=-1 ⇒y=0   (-1,0)

c)
other zero of the funtion is: x=-2 ⇒y=0  (-2,0)

d)

In order to estimate the average time spent on the computer terminals per student at a local university, data were collected fro
Ksju [112]

Answer:

d. 0.133

Step-by-step explanation:

-Standard error is  calculated using the formula:

E=\frac{\sigma}{\sqrt{n}}\\\\\sigma-=standard \ deviation\\n=sample \ size

#We substitute the given values in the formula to solve for E:

E=\frac{\sigma}{\sqrt{n}}\\\\=\frac{1.2}{\sqrt{81}}\\\\=0.133

Hence, the standard error is 0.133 and the correct option is d

5 of the 6 exits were men, so the experimental probability that a man exits the room is 5/6.
